Fiberreed RPL Baritone Saxophone

The RPL works wonderfully in combination with classic mouthpieces.

The RPL model is the first reed in our Fiberreed Artist Series, developed with classical music in mind in collaboration with Portuguese music professor Rodrigo Pires de Lima. The reed was optimized according to Rodrigo's exact specifications through detailed adjustments and refined through extensive testing. Rodrigo’s signature material is carbon, and he prefers a traditional curved heart cut. This gives the reed good resistance, a pure tone, and precise response.

The Artist Series is something truly special for us here at Fiberreed. More than 30 years of experience, passion, and innovation flow into this series. The RPL was made with a whole lot of "love and care"! Originally designed for classical musicians, the RPL works wonderfully in combination with classical mouthpieces. However, it is also a real treat for any jazz musician.
